The Gondola Restaurant has been a Leominster family favorite for 50 years.  Family owned and operated since 1957 the original name was “THE LAZY A”.  We have proudly served the people of Leominster some of the finest homemade Italian Cuisine in the area.  Co-Owners Mary and Gus Lelli (brother and sister) pride themselves on the high quality of their food and service.  

After a major renovation and name change in 1967, the two were able to expand not only the building but the menu.  They now offer an extensive menu of original recipes and homemade specialties.  The menu also offers many pastas, veal, poultry, beef, vegetarian and seafood specialties all prepared fresh daily on premises. They also receive fresh deliveries daily from local merchants, distributors and farms.   In recent years they have added catering platters to the menu for that special occasion you may be hosting.   You may also purchase many of their homemade pastas frozen to cook fresh at your home.  Add to that the homemade tomato sauce, salad dressing and desserts and you can bring the Gondola recipes to your dining room table.

Mary and Gus are still actively working in the business and oversee all of the day to day activities.  Gus’s daughter Margaret and her husband Ric Wood are currently managing and working the business.  You will always find a Lelli family member available at the restaurant at any time.
