In December of 2010 I was thinking of a way to help promote business to local restaurants, a friend owned a restaurant that was struggling and I wanted to hel...p in some way, I created Dining Out In Central Mass and made a commitment that the page would stay focused on locally owned restaurants and pubs, and I have maintained that promise.

This page is now supported by 4300 members and we have about 60 locally owned restaurants that post with some frequency.

I designed this page to be "Your Page" it's a place to share your favorite restaurant or pub, to share your experience or to tell us about your favorite server. I honestly believe the local restaurants and the employees need our support as a community. The only rules of the page are to "Keep it nice" we all know that things can and will go wrong at times, but that's no reason to crush someone, as a local restaurant, the owners are almost always there or the GM is there. If something goes wrong, let them know, they can't fix it if they don't know about it, and they really do want your comments, good and bad. There are enough websites out there to complain, our page is to help promote business. If your favorite restaurant is not yet on this page, please suggest it to them, it's free and it can only help their business.
